GRP Fibreglass Frame
Fibre reinforced composites contain two main elements, fibres and resins that combine to give the final product unique properties.
The fibres form the structural element ofthe product.
The resin holds the fibres together and also protects them from damage by transferring the stress among the fibres.
The main advantage of composite materials is strength and stiffness combined with lightness when compared to conventional materials.
Fibreglass also has great adhesion qualities compared with conventional materials, allowing for secured installations.
Colour of fibreglass frame is always grey.
HDPE Manhole Cover
HDPE has excellent impact strength, even at temperatures as low as -30°C.
Coupled with low coefficient of friction and ease of fabrication, HDPE is widely used the leisure and health sectors due to its ability to repel corrosive materials.
Colour of HDPE cover can be manufactured from any colour in our range.
Manufacture
We suggest in the majority of cases that the manhole covers have an anti-slip grooving routered into the surface to negate the HDPE's natural low coefficient of friction.
All fixings used would be 316 A4 stainless steel to reduce corrostion and lifting eyelets would be supplied to remove and replace the cover when neccessary.
Can be manufactured with NO seal, single seal or double seal depending on the application.
